C. E. Greenlief Dies in California
Former One Minute Company Superintendent Dies of Heart Attack
Charles E. Greenlief, 69, former factory superintendent of the One Minute Washer company for a number of years, died of a heart attack early Monday morning in Los Angeles, Calif.
Funeral services will be held there and burial will be in Valhalla Memorial Park.
Mr. Greenlief left Newton for California about 12 years ago, and had made his home there since.
A native of Jasper county, he was born Jan. 19, 1868, the son of William C. and Eunice (Brown) Greenlief. He was married Dec. 25, 1892, to Jomattie Rumbaugh Cure, who preceded him in death several years ago.
Before being connected with the One Minute company, Mr. Greenlief was foreman of the machine shop of the Parsons Band Cutter and Self-Feeder company for eight years.
A daughter, Mrs. Grace McClary, and a son, Jesse W. Greenlief, both live in Los Angeles.
