Former Resident of County Dies
METZ – Funeral services for Mrs. Charles Giesenhaus, 71, former resident of the Metz neighborhood, were held at Muscatine Tuesday.
Mrs. Giesenhaus, who was known here as Mary Shelley, died Sunday night following a year’s illness.
Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Grace; two brothers, John and Will Shelley of Dallas Center, and a half-brother, T. J. Kating of Newton.
Mrs. Lucille Kating Loar of Newton attended the rites.
