Hold Services For Former M. E. Church Pastor
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at Minneapolis for Dr. Frank E. Day, former pastor of the Newton Methodist Episcopal church, who died there Friday. Burial services will be held at Ida Grove Wednesday afternoon.
Dr. Day was pastor of the Newton church at the time the present building was erected and had charge of the dedication services in 1916. He attended the last annual conference held in Newton this fall and was here to preach at the women’s missionary society service in October.
He was superintendent of the Good Will Industry, a charity organization of the church.
