Mrs. McNair’s Mother Dies In Clarinda Monday
Mrs. James Damewood of Clarinda, mother of Mrs. F. L. McNair of Newton, died Monday night following a two-month illness.
Mrs. McNair and children, Jimmy and Marilyn, and her father-in-law, George W. McNair of Maywood, Calif., left for Clarinda this morning. Mrs. McNair’s husband is a patient at the U.S. Veterans hospital in Des Moines.

Postpone Rites For Mrs. McNair’s Mother
Funeral services for Mrs. James Damewood of Clarinda, mother of Mrs. F. L. McNair of Newton, have been postponed until Saturday at 10:00 a.m. because of the arrival of a son from California.
Mrs. McNair and children, Jimmy and Marilyn, and her father-in-law, George W. McNair, are in Clarinda for the rites. They are planning to return to Newton today and will stop en route in Des Moines to see F. I. McNair, a patient in the U.S. Veterans hospital.
