Father, Mother Of Local Resident Die
Mrs. Lloyd Shipley of Newton, who went to Tracy, Ia., Friday to attend the funeral of her father, W. Currant, remained over until today to attend rites for her mother.
Mr. Currant died there Wednesday morning and Mrs. Currant followed her husband in death Saturday night. Both deaths were caused by influenza.
A daughter-in-law, Mrs. John Currant, is reported to be seriously ill with the disease in the home.
A granddaughter, Helen Loveless of Newton, also survived.
