Couch, Florence Streeter – d. 1937

CLEAR CREEK – James Streeter of Collins, A. J. Streeter of Colfax and Mrs. William Angelo, of Des Moines left Monday morning for Caputa, S. D., where they were called by the death of their sister, Mrs. A. J. Couch. She had been as well as usual and no particulars are available. Mr. Couch died Dec. 23, 1936.
Mrs. Couch was Florence Streeter and spent her life her on the farm. She was a rural teacher in Jasper county and attended the old Hazel Dell Academy at Newton. She was about 70 years of age and had been in Dakota nearly thirty years. Her daughter Faye at home, the two brothers, two sisters, Mrs. Angelo and Mrs. Winifred Bussey, of San Diego, Calif., survive.
Her parents, Edwin and Sarah Stock Streeter, and their four small children preceded her in death.
