Former Resident Dies in California
Mrs. J. G. Brunner, prominent former Newton resident, died Wednesday night in Van Nuys, Calif., according to word received by friends.
Funeral services will be conducted there Friday at 2:00 p.m. and burial will be beside her husband, who died in September 1934.
Mr. and Mrs. Brunner left Newton about five years ago to be with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Brunner, in California.
Mrs. Brunner is survived by her son; three grandchildren, Mary Jane, Jesse Jo and David Brunner, and a brother, John Johnson of Council Bluffs, Ia.
