Funeral Rites Wednesday For Curt Brunner
Funeral services for Curt Brunner, 59, of Indianola, former Jasper county resident, will be conducted from the Baptist church in Monroe Wednesday at 2:00 p.m.
Mr. Brunner died Saturday evening following a severe stroke.
He was a brother of Mrs. Catherine Adamson and Mrs. Perry Thompson of Newton.

Conduct Rites In Monroe For J. C. Brunner
Funeral services for Jacob Curtis Brunner, 59, of Indianola, former Jasper county resident, were conducted from the Baptist church in Monroe Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Dean Chapman of Ogden was in charge.
Interment was in the Monroe cemetery, with the following serving as pall bearers: Harold Devine, Howard Woods, Earl Tilton, Myron Douglass, Owen Gideon and Herbert Hastle.
Mr. Brunner, son of Jacob and Rachel Brunner, was born June 21, 1878, at Prairie City and died Sept. 18, at his home near Indianola. Death resulted from a stroke, suffered Sept. 15.
One of a family of nine children, he was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and three sisters.
He was united in marriage with Maggie Lust Nov. 2, 1903, at Newton. To this union was born three children, one son, Lavane Leonard, dying in infancy.
Surviving relatives are his wife; one son, Belfouir O’Deane Brunner of Indianola; a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Opal Hanselman of Des Moines; a brother, Stephen Brunner of Walnut, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Thompson and Mrs. Catherine Adamson, both of Newton. He was a nephew of John Brunner of Newton.
