Former Local Resident Dies In Des Moines
Funeral services for John W. Brown, 79, father of Mrs. Guy Simpson of Newton, were conducted Monday morning from the Hamilton funeral home in Des Moines. Burial was at Menlo.
Mr. Brown, who died in Des Moines Saturday night, lived in Newton about 15 years ago with Mrs. Simpson.
Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. O. M. Bell and Mrs. A. J. Liddell of Des Moines.
Those attending the rites from Newton were Mr. and Mrs. Simpson and daughter, Mozelle, Edward Knowles, Margaret Brokaw and Mrs. O. M. Parsons.
