Porter Services Will Be Friday
Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Porter, 91, of Newton, will be held at two o’clock Friday afternoon at the Toland Funeral Home. Mrs. Porter died here Tuesday.
Rev. J. Wilfred Walker, pastor of the First Christian church will officiate. Burial will be in the Newton Union cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Harold Conners, Tom Toye, Irwin Gildersleeve, Jim Caylor, Kenneth Van Scoy and Dyke Spillman. Music will be burnished by Mrs. Otto McNeese and Miss Inez McNeese and Sheron Kay, William and Douglas Wagoner. Songs will be “In the Garden,” “Old Rugged Cross,” and “Good Night and Good Morning.”
Serving on the flower committee are Mrs. Zenas Stevens and Mrs. John Stinson.
