Died ­ Mr. Carey Main, aged 63 yrs. 9 mos., and 15 days, died Feb. 18th, at the home of his son Lewis Main north of town. Mr. Main had come from western Iowa to visit his son, and was only sick a short time. He was a brother of D. W. Main. ~ The Newton (IA) Record Thursday, February 24, 1898
