Debbie L. Armstrong-Martin, 42, of Newton died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at her home.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with Glen Oswalt of Newton officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Jim H. Armstrong and B. JoAnn Hildebrand, she was born Feb. 18, 1962, in Burlington. She was a student and worked in the factory for the Maytag Company. She enjoyed flower gardening and collecting glassware.

Survivors include a daughter, Amber Armstrong of Newton; a son, David Armstrong of Newton; one grandson; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Randy and Kathy Armstrong, Rick and June Armstrong, Jimmy Armstrong and Ronald Armstrong, all of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.
