NORA SPRINGS -- Dr. Richard R. "Doc" Lucas, 63, of Nora Springs died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2004, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 3090 SW Ninth St. in Des Moines. His body has been cremated. A private family burial service will be held at a later date at Highland Memorial Gardens in Des Moines. Sheckler Colonial Chapel in Nora Springs is in charge of local arrangements.
