KNOXVILLE -- Judith Ann Kingery-Fastenau of Knoxville died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2004, at Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella.

Funeral services were held today at the Monroe United Methodist Church. Burial was at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe handled arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the Judith Kingery-Fastenau Memorial Fund.

The daughter of Hubert E. and Maxine Louise (Clarkson) Guthrie, she was born in Newton. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1958. In 1997 she married Dewey A. Fastenau at the Monroe United Methodist Church. She worked as a health care manager for 28 years before retiring in 1997. She was a member of the Reasnor United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was also a longtime member and rodeo secretary for the PRCA, URA and IRCA.

She is survived by her husband Dewey of Knoxville; a daughter, Lori Lyn Storm and her husband Lloyd of Monroe; two sons, John Kavin Kingery and his wife Jodie of Monroe and Kenneth Wayne Kingery of Monroe; a step-daughter, Susan Schlichtig and her husband Steven of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, Colt and Dalton Kingery, Kasey Kingery, Shawnee Storm and Brandon and Katie Schlichtig; a sister, Mary Louise Fisher and her husband Frank of Albia; a brother, Bill Guthrie and his wife Joyce of Newton; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents preceded her in death.
