PELLA -- Elizabeth "Betty" G. (Van Veen) Evers, 89, of Pella died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at the Hospice of Pella Comfort House.

Memorial services were held today at 10:30 a.m. at the Second Reformed Church in Pella with the Rev. Sophie Mathonnet-Vander Well officiating. Private family burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella is handling arrangements.

Memorials may be given to Mary Evers Scholarship Fund.
