PERRY -- Mildred Margaretta Gardiner, 89, of Perry, mother of Lester Gardiner Jr. and his wife Beverly of Newton, died Sept. 26, 2004, at the Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry.

Funeral services were held Sept. 30 at Woodward United Methodist Church in Woodward with the Rev. Clarence DeBoef officiating. Burial was at Woodward Cemetery. Hastings Funeral Home in Perry handled arrangements.

Memorials will be accepted to Woodward United Methodist Church and may be sent to the Hastings Funeral Home, 1417 Second, Perry 50220.
