WEST DES MOINES -- Herma Cowell, 85, of West Des Moines, formerly of Pella, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, at Fountain West in West Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Berean Baptist Church in Pella with the Rev. Michael Craighead officiating. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella.

Visitation will begin today at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella, where the family will be present from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to Berean Baptist Church in Pella.
