Prairie City - Mrs. George M. Blattner died at 9 o'clock Sunday night from a stroke of paralysis. Deceased leaves a husband and six children, three sons and three daughters. One son lives in Texas where he is principal of a Deaf and Dumb Institute; one daughter lives in Minnesota; the rest of the children are at home. ~ The Newton Record, Friday, December 7, 1894
