Former Newton Resident Dies

Mrs. Will (Lena) Benskin, 86, Des Moines, former resident of Newton, died Tuesday morning at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Des Moines.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Des Moines, and burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Surviving are a son, a daughter, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two bothers and four sisters.

The daughter of John and Letitia Wulf, she was born September 1883 in Jasper County and attended Newton schools. ~ The Newton Daily News (Newton, Iowa) Wednesday, October 15, 1969.
