Mrs. Jessie Good, Mingo, Dies Sunday Sept. 3rd
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles William (Jessie Irene) Good, 63, of Mingo, a longtime resident of Mingo, were held Tuesday, Sept. 5, 1972 at the Toland-Wallace Funeral Home in Newton.
The Rev. David A. Pacholke, pastor of the Mingo United Methodist church, conducted the services. Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, William of Mingo; a daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Karen) Pierce of Mingo; five grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Maxwell of Colfax and Richard Maxwell of Newton; and three sisters, Mrs. Lester (Bertine) Shaffer, Mrs. Walter (Fern) Herberger and Mrs. Kenneth (Marilyn) Doty, all of Mingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1965, a brother and a sister.
Mrs. Good was a member of the Mingo United Methodist Church.
The daughter of Bert L. and Olive E. Banta Maxwell she was born June 14, 1909 at St. Charles.
She was married June 23, 1926 at Newton.
Mrs. Good died Sunday morning at the Des Moines General Hospital.
