Mrs. Edna Davenport died February 5th
Mrs. Tom (Edna) Snook Davenport Sr., 81, lifelong resident of Jasper County, died Saturday morning, Feb. 5, 1972 at her home in Mingo.
Survivors are her two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Magg of Colfax and Mrs. Ila Frey of Mingo; two sons, Lyle Ayers and Tom Davenport, both of Mingo; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Perry of Des Moines.
Mrs. Davenport was born May 4, 1890 in the Newton area. She was one of a family of ten children.
She was married to Byron Ayers in 1911. In 1920 she was married to Tom Davenport.
