Mrs. Ellen Dooley Dies Tuesday
Mrs. Annie Ellen Dooley, 68, died Tuesday, July 23rd at the Gardner Custodial Home in Colfax where she had resided since Jan. 15th of this year. She had been in poor health for a number of years from high blood pressure and death was caused by a stroke.
Mrs. Dooley had resided north of Colfax, in the Oswalt area, all of her life time, except for the past nine years when she had resided in the city.
The daughter of William H. and Rosilly M. Oswalt McKeever, she was born July 1, 1900 at Valeria.
She was married to Richard E. Dooley November 25, 1930 at Newton. Mr. Dooley preceded her in death Jan. 1, 1959.
Those surviving are a son, Robert Dale Dooley; a daughter, Miss Shirley Ann Dooley and three grandchildren, all of Colfax; and a brother, Milton W. McKeever of Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 26 at 2 p.m. in the Walters Funeral Home in Colfax. Rev. Charles Wilder, minister of the First Baptist Church, will conduct the services.
Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery.
