Card of Thanks
“We wish to express our gratitude to all you wonderful people of Colfax who helped make our mother’s last years more pleasant by your visits, gifts, cards and letters. You acts of kindness through all of the years when she needed them have been an inspiration and very deeply appreciated. We thank you for the floral tributes and other expressions of sympathy. Reverend Nicholson’s words during the service were so comforting that it is a beautiful thing to remember. Our thanks also to Mr. Walters and Mr. Elliott for their courtesies; the Women’s Society of Christian Service of the Methodist Church for the coffee and cake following the service; Dr. Reinertson for her care of mother; and to those at the Gardner Custodial Home who have so lovingly cared for mother all of these years.” I hope I have included everyone I should. It is difficult when one lives in another town. “The Mae Everett Family”
