Former Resident Services Held Jan. 15
Memorial services for Mrs. Joseph (Edna Pearl) Dodd, 88, of El Paso, Tex., a former resident, were held Jan. 15th at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.
Eugene Cree, a Christian Science reader from Des Moines, conducted the services. Burial was in the Rorabaugh Cemetery near Colfax.
Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. LaVon Anderson of El Paso, Tex., Mrs. Betty Maroe of El Paso, Tex., and Mrs. Gladys LeCocq of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Robert Dodd of Yucaipa, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Aletha DeWitt of Eldora; a brother, Lloyd Hindman of Longmont, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The daughter of Samuel and Annie Shuck Hindman, she was born Nov. 14, 1884 in Winterset.
She was married in 1917.
Mrs. Dodd died Friday in El Paso, Tex.
She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist in El Paso, Tex.
