Monroe – Mrs. Paul (Lenora Pearl) Baker, 65, of Monroe, a longtime resident of Jasper County, died Tuesday morning at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, south of Prairie City.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Thomas of Huntington Beach, Calif.; three sons, Walter Baker of Trivoli, Ill., John Baker of Peoria, Ill., and Robert Baker of New Jersey; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Marvin (Opal) Patterson of Newton, Mrs. Dick (Helen) De Haai of Monroe and Mrs. Ray (Beulah) McDaniel of Clarence; and a brother, Clifton Shaffer of Knoxville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three infant children; a son, Inlow, and her parents.
The daughter of John and Rachal Brown Shaffer, she was born Jan. 6, 1911.
