Mrs. John R. (Anna) Ashman Dies March 4th
Mrs. John R. (Anna T.) Ashman of Des Moines, a former resident of Colfax, died Thursday, March 4, at the Clear View Manor in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Robert Snyder, pastor fo the Baptist Church in Colfax, conducted services. Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.
Survivors are a son, Spencer of Des Moines; two grandchildren; two brothers, ,Arthur E. Trevethan and Roscoe S. Trevethan, both of Mesa, Ariz. And a sister, Mrs. Grace Seyforth of Newton.
She was preceded in death by her husband Aug. 16, 1930.
Mrs. Ashman had been employed by the Cascade Laundry in Des Moines.
The daughter of Albert and Grace Jane Spencer Trevethan, she was born Feb. 26, 1888 in Des Moines.
She was married Feb. 28, 1908 in Newton.
