Isaac Brookins died at his home in Colfax Tuesday, May 22, after illness of 2 years. He was a miner till his health failed. Funeral from Bethel Baptist church Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. G. O. Terrell. Mr. Brookins had resided in Colfax about 20 years. He leaves one son, Tommy Brookins.
