John Richard Ashman, Jr., son of John R. and Anna L. Ashman, was born in Colfax, February 28th, 1915, and died at Des Moines December 9, 1917, age 2 years, 9 months and 11 days. Funeral services were held at the home of Mrs. Trevethan at 2:00 o’clock Monday, conducted by Morgan Jones. Interment in Oak Hill cemetery.
