Born February 23d, and died May 4th, 1918, Mabel, 4th daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Carroll.
Funeral services were held at the home Sunday, May 5th at 2 p.m. in charge of Rev. Cannom. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Ronald Carroll, George Carroll, Jack Mitchell and Max Emmert.
Father and mother, brother Ronald and sister Leona are left to mourn her departure.
Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Jackson and daughter Mabel of Chariton, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mitchell, son Jack, Mrs. Wm. Slaght and Mrs. O. Taft of Des Moines were present at the funeral.

Card of Thanks – To our neighbors and friends who so kindly assisted us during the illness and death of our infant daughter, Mabel Ardath Carroll, we desire to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks. Leo and Maude Carroll, Ronald Carroll, Leona Carroll.
