Octogenarian, Jasper County Pioneer, Dies in Seattle at Home of Daughter.
S. E. Zinn, 84 years old, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lulu Kerr in Seattle, Wash., at a late hour Tuesday.
The deceased was an uncle of Mrs. I. L. Patton of this city and Mrs. Patton made her home with him when a girl.
He was deputy treasurer for Jasper county a number of years ago and held other offices in the old Jasper county courthouse. He was in retail business in Newton also.
He left Newton in 1892 to make his home with his daughter in Seattle. – Newton News, March 23.
