Death of Joseph Ferguson
Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Ferguson and children were called to Lovilla, Iowa, last week by the death of Mr. Ferguson’s brother, Joseph A., who passed away after a brief illness.
Joseph Adelbert Ferguson died at his home in Lovilla January 8th, the cause of his death being Bright’s disease. He was born near Colfax March 23, 1863. He was married to Jennie Lewis of Oswalt, Iowa, April 10, 1885. To this union were born eight children. His wife died May 17, 1911. He was married again February 19, 1913. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife, six children, seven brothers and three sisters.
