Yesterday at 10 o’clock was held the funeral over the remains of Myrtle Logsdon, whose death occurred Thursday. Myrtle was about fourteen years old and had long been afflicted with a serious nervous trouble.

The funeral was held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eben Logsdon, one and a half miles west of town. Rev. W. Dieffenbach officiated. The interment was in the Bridges Cemetery. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Saturday, March 23, 1907, Page 1, Column3
