A. G. Leeper received word today that his brother, Joseph, who has been living in Council Bluffs, is dead and that the body will arrive in Newton tonight. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 at Sugar Grove Church and the interment will be in the Metz Cemetery. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Saturday, March 2, 1907, Page 1, Column 6
