Jake Haines Dies At County Home
Funeral Services Are Held This Afternoon at Murdoch Funeral Home
Jake Haines died at the county home yesterday morning at 7:30 o’clock following a short illness. He was 64 years of age.
Funeral services were held at the Murdock funeral home this afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. W. H. Blancke in charge. Burial was in the Newton Union cemetery.
Mr. Haines is survived by one brother, Lafe Haines, who lives in Newton, and by other distant relatives.

Haines Services Held Yesterday
Funeral services for Jake Haines, who died at the county home Sunday, were held at the Murdoch funeral home yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. W. H. Blancke officiating. Burial was in the Newton Union cemetery.
Pallbearers were E. Hopson, Peter DePenning, George Shelley, R. A. Livingston, Steve Guessford and William Kirkwood.
