Robert L. Warrick Died June 24th
Robert L. Warrick, 63, of rural Colfax died Tuesday, June 24, at the Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 2:00 p.m. at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Bishop Wayne B. Merkley of Des Moines will conduct the services. Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Roberta) Wade of Des Moines; a son, Robert M. of Mesa, Arizona; one sister, Mrs. T. A. (Margaret) Morris of Waterloo; four brothers, James of Newton; Cary of Cedar Falls; Frank C. and Clyde of Colfax, and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The son of Allen and Inda McVey Warrick, he was born December 10, 1911 at Oswalt.
He was married to Winifred Owens, April 27, 1935, in Des Moines. Mr. Warrick was employed as a truck driver for Crouse-Cartage Co. prior to retiring seven years ago. He had lived in Des Moines 38 years before moving to the Colfax area three years ago.
