The funeral of Frank B. Smith whose death occurred yesterday morning from typhoid fever, will be held from the home at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. E. F. Leake will officiate.

Fran was born February 22, 1881 in the house where his death occurred on the corner of South Spring and Plum Streets. He was the youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, being one of eight children, and his death is the first to occur in the family. His brother, Guy Smith of Omaha, Neb., arrived this morning and his sisters, Mrs. Della Fisher, of St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Alice Manley of Grand Island, Neb., and Mrs. Alta Nitsche, of South Omaha, are here to attend the funeral. ~ The Newton Daily News, Tuesday, October 9, 1906, Page 4, Column 1
