Mrs. Mary Hiatt, who was called to Albia last week on account of the serious illness of her sister, Mrs. Mattie Castleman Hanger, arrived in the city this morning with the body, the sister’s death having occurred yesterday afternoon.

Mrs. Hanger was the wife of the late John Hanger whose death occurred a little over a year ago at Gowrie. The cause of Mrs. Hanger’s death was paralysis. Mrs. Hiatt arrived at Albia last week on Tuesday, but her sister, during all the days, which followed until her death, did not recognize her.

The funeral will be held from the Hayden Reynolds residence on South Market Street at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning. Rev. E. F. Gillis of the United Presbyterian Church will officiate. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Thursday, August 30, 1906, Page 4, Column 3
