Ruby E. Wallace, age 95 of Monroe, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 8, 2018, at the Monroe United Methodist Church, with burial following at Silent City Cemetery.

The daughter of Floyd and Maude (Kain) Schrader, Ruby was born on April 30, 1921, in Monroe. She graduated from Newton High School in 1939. On December 20, 1941, she was united in marriage to Arthur Wallace in Lancaster, Missouri. Ruby enjoyed putting puzzles together, quilting, and reading. Her greatest enjoyment came from being at family functions.
Survivors include her children, Judy (Jim) Timmins, Edith (Jim) Aikin, Jerry (Sue) Wallace, and Bill (Stacy) Wallace; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Wallace; 18 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and many other family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Art; son Ernest; sister, Inez Thomason; brother, Hubert Schrader; infant granddaughter, Laura Wallace and grandsons, Chris and Craig Wallace.
