Sharon K. Tabor, age 69 of Newton, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2017, at her home. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will take place at Silent City Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The daughter of Laurel and Eloise (Johnson) Dykstra, Sharon was born on December 12, 1947 in Des Moines, Iowa. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1966. Sharon was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo, going to garage sales but most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her son, Troy (Amber) Tabor; grandchildren, Ashley (Jessica), Makayla (Jason), and Courtney; two great grandchildren, Jameson and Angell; her mother, Eloise Dykstra; two sisters, Laura Dawson and Pam (Rod) Helms and a brother, Craig (Cindy) Dykstra. Preceding her in death was her father, fiancé, Ron Beadle and a brother-in-law, Dean Dawson.
