APRIL 11, 1968 ~ FEBRUARY 8, 2018 (AGE 49)

Rod’s family will greet friends with a coffee time from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, February 15th at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be at a later date at the Hubbard Cemetery in Hubbard, Iowa.

Memorials to the Jasper County Animal Rescue League and Humane Society may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the Wallace Family Funeral Home, please add, Attn: Freese Family on the envelope.

Rodney C. “Rod” Freese, the son of William C. “Bill” and Patsy D. “Pat” Good Freese, was born on April 11, 1968 in Fort Madison, Iowa. He was a graduate of Newton High School in 1986. He graduated from AIB in Des Moines

Rod was the Office Manager at Ditch Witch. He was a lifelong Minnesota Vikings Fan. He also enjoyed muscle cars. Rod loved animals, especially his two dogs, Princess and Jasmine.

Those left to celebrate Rod’s memory are his dad, William C. “Bill” Freese of Newton; sister, Candace (Michael) Manka of Fort Madison; two brothers, Steven (Joyce) Freese of Cedar Rapids and William “Bill” (Deb) Freese of Newton; his nieces and nephews, Samantha Cochran, Alex Manka, Amanda Freese, Evan Freese, Matthew Freese, Patrick Freese, Nick Freese and Benjamin Freese; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
