Life Story Of Mrs. L. T. Munson
Mrs. L. T. (Elsie) Munson, 82, of Monroe, a longtime resident of Jasper County died Wednesday morning, March 16, at Van’s Nursing Home in Prairie City.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Monroe Baptist Church.
The Rev. Wayne Anderson, minister of the church, and the Rev. James Poulsen, minister of the Monroe Methodist Church, conducted the services. Burial was in Monroe Cemetery.
Survivors are three sons, John, of Belleville, Kan., and Jerry and James, both of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Orva) Bonzer of Liscomb; 15 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Mrs. Munson was born April 18, 1883 at Ladora.
