Rites Held For Hjortshoj Infant
Shawn Conrad Hjortshoj was prematurely born March 2, 1966, at Pella Community Hospital in Pella weighing 2 lbs. 2 ozs. at birth. The of Sharon and John Hjortshoj, he passed from this life Sunday, March 6, 1966, at the age of four days.
He is survived by his parents; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Karr of Monroe and Mr. and Mrs. Gunnar Hjortshoj of Monroe; as well as several aunts and uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Services were held at the Monroe Methodist Church March 7. Rev. James V. Poulsen officiated. Interment was in the Monroe Cemetery.
