Life Story of Mrs. D. F. Lewis
Mrs. D. F. (Catherine) Lewis, 81, of Monroe, died at 3 a.m. Sunday after suffering a heart attack.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Crumpacker Funeral Home in Monroe.
The Rev. James E. Poulsen, minister of the Monroe Methodist Church, conducted the services.
Je was assisted by the Rev. Wayne K. Anderson, minister of the Monroe Baptist Church.
Burial was in Monroe Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Martin.
Survivors are a son, William; a grandson, Rodger; and five great grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Mamie Lust of Monroe, and a brother, Charles Livingston, of El Monte, Calif.
Mrs. Lewis was a member of the Monroe Baptist Church.
The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Livingston, she was born near Monroe May 31, 1884.
She was married to D. F. Lewis in 1904 at the home of her parents.
