Life Story of Mrs. Dotta Worth
Dotta Fay Waring, daughter of John C. and Martha Jane Waring, was born in Reasnor February 23, 1886, and passed away July 17, 1965, at Prairie City at the age of 79 years and 5 months.
On December 14, 1905, she was married to George Worth of Monroe, and to this union were born six children: Mrs. Merle (Wanda) Montgomery of Colfax, Mrs. Wally (Corene) Illian of Des Moines, Arlo Worth of Grinnell, Mrs. Arie (Janice) Olsthoorn of Monroe, Mrs. Robert (Aldean) Jarnagin of Cedar Rapids, and Blake Worth of Grinnell.
She was a member of Monroe Methodist Church.
Her husband preceded her in death in 1946. She is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Vint Waring of Newton and Jess Waring of Lorimor.
