Services Held Sat. For Albert Johnson
Albert Johnson, 70, a longtime resident of Monroe, died January 14 while walking toward uptown Monroe.
Mr. Johnson was born April 25, 1894, in Marion County.
Services were held Saturday, January 16 from the Monroe Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Farrell officiating. Interment was in the Monroe Cemetery.
Mrs. Thelma Lewis was the soloist, accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Lorraine Honnold.
Pallbearers were Ted Reetz, Forrest Walker, Burton Zerley, Duane Blackledge, Robert Thomason and Bert Spoelstra.
Mrs. Faye Zerley and Mrs. Mila Sloan were in charge of flowers.
Mr. Johnson was a longtime employee of the Whitted Implement Co.
