Life Story of Nathan P. Mullins
Nathan Pedro Mullins, son of Matthew and Jane Collins Mullins, was born August 2, 1876 near Monroe, Iowa, and departed this life from Van’s Nursing Home at Prairie City on October 26, 1964 at the age of 88 years, 2 months and 24 days.
Mr. Mullins life was spent in rural Marion and Jasper counties where he was engaged in farming.
On February 27, 1909, he was united in marriage to Nellie McNeish. To this union was born two sons, Matthew and Leo, both of Monroe.
He was a member of the Monroe Methodist Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, two sons, two grandchildren and one great-grand-daughter.
