Life Story Of Jesse Rinemuth
Services were held Wednesday afternoon for Jesse G. Rinemuth who passed away Monday. The Rev. James Poulsen conducted the services at Crumpacker Funeral Home.
Burial was in the Monroe cemetery.
Jesse G. Rinemuth, son of Philip and Julia Rinemuth, was born in Marion county March 23, 1872 and passed away at the Pella Community hospital October 5, 1964, at the age of 92 years and 6 months.
In 1895 he was united in marriage to Willa Clark in Monroe. They established their home on a farm west of Monroe. To this union two children were born; a son, William Ralph, and a daughter, Gertrude Worth.
He spent his entire life in this community with the exception of, when as a young man he spent the winter with an older brother Chris, in Wyoming, and a winter in California with his family.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife in 1946, two sisters, Mrs. William (Marie) Gerton and Mrs. Esther Irons, and a brother, Jerome, all of California, another brother, Christopher of Billings, Mont., and Ed Rinemuth of Eddyville.
He is survived by his son and daughter, both of Monroe, three granddaughters, Barbara Worth Sayre of Indianola, Sally and Sue Rinemuth, a sister, Mrs. C. F. (Nan) Talmage of Orange, Calif., five nephews and two nieces, all living in California.
