Life Story of Paul Wilson
Memorial services were conducted by the Rev. James Poulsen Tuesday, May 26, for Paul Elisha Wilson, son of Carl E. and Pearl Botsford Wilson. He was born May 5, 1940 at Monroe.
He lived on a farm north of Monroe and attended McCroskey school. He graduated from Monroe high school with the class of 1958. He was an active member of the Future Farmers of America.
He was graduated from trade school in Kansas City, Mo., and was employed at Dealers Warehouse in Newton at the time of his death. He was a member of the Monroe Methodist church.
He died from accidental drowning at Swan May 17, 1964, at the age of 24 years and 12 days.
He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Chester Dawson of Newton, Darroll Dawson of Monroe and Carl Wilson, Jr., also of Newton, four sisters, Mrs. Carl (Genevieve) Finch of Bondurant, Mrs. Virgil (Della) Birkenholtz of Prairie City, Mrs. George (Carol) Van Zee of Newton and Mrs. Glenn (Carlene) Smool of New Providence, several nieces and nephews and many relatives.
Services were conducted by the Crumpacker Funeral Home and interment was in the Monroe cemetery Sunday, May 14.
