Ervie Lee Mick Rites Saturday
Funeral services for Ervie Lee Mick will be held Saturday, Mar. 25, at the Monroe Baptist church. Mr. Mick passed away Wednesday at Collins hospital. Death was caused by a heart condition.
The Rev. Donald Brong, pastor of the church, will conduct the services at 1:30 p.m.
He was born in Jasper county on June 29, 1909, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mick.
Mr. Mick had spent his entire life in Galesburg and Monroe. On January 18, 1933 he was married to Rachel Monsma.
He is survived by his wife; three sons, Marvin, Ronald and Vernon; his mother; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph (Hazel) Clausen and Mrs. Glen (Ida) Rythen, both of Reasnor; three brothers, Clifford of Sully, Lester of Newton and Raymond of Reasnor; and one grandson.
