Small Child Dies

Mary Jean Anthony, eight months old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Anthony, of three miles south of Newton died last evening at the home of her parents. Mrs. Anthony, the mother, is remembered by many as Miss Neva Gibson.

Mary was the youngest of two children.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock at the Palo Alto church. Dr. charles B. Hankins will be the minister in charge. Burial will be made in the Palo Alto cemetery. ~ Newton Daily News January 31, 1923
